Entry requirements
Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Postgraduate entry
- Applicants must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent, with a minimum 6.0 in each subtest, and have native or near-native proficiency in one of the following languages: Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Spanish or Vietnamese. Applicants must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualification in any discipline and Applicants must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent, with a minimum 6.0 in each subtest, and have native or near-native proficiency in one of the following languages: Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Spanish or Vietnamese.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
