Occupational therapy is a dynamic, diverse, and rewarding profession. You will work with individuals, community groups and organisations to help them overcome barriers imposed by illness, injury, disability, psychological impairment, developmental delay or through the ageing and dying process. Entry requirements
Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Postgraduate entry
- Successful completion of recognised Bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) in a health related field with a minimum GPA requirement of 1 (on a 4-point scale where 1 = pass). Must also meet subject prerequisites, see additional requirements.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
