The Master of Teaching is a pre-service teaching degree that gives you the skills and knowledge to teach in a primary or secondary school setting. Your studies are informed by internationally renowned research in English literacy, inclusive education, arts and creativity, regional and rural education, and other areas inspired by the unique challenges and opportunities of education in Tasmania. This course is accredited through the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board and is recognized in all Australian states and territories. International students who are nationals of a country where English is NOT the official language, evidence of an IELTS or TOEFL test must be provided.
The Master of Teaching requires an (IELTS) average of 7.5 with no band lower than 7.0 and Listening and Speaking at 8.0.
If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
