Entry requirements

  • Rule B: You have completed a Bachelor qualification (AQF Level 7) and a one or two-year pre-service teaching qualification (AQF Level 8 or 9) or overseas equivalent.
  • Rule C: You have completed Graduate Certificate in Education Studies (AQF Level 8) or overseas equivalent, or one of the following UNE AQF Level 8 qualifications:
  • Graduate Certificate in Education Studies (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
  • Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
  • You have completed a four-year pre-service teaching qualification (AQF Level 7) or a Bachelor qualification (AQF Level 7) and a one or two-year pre-service teaching qualification (AQF Level 8 or 9) or overseas equivalents and
English requirement

If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package.
