Course overview
The Undergraduate Certificate in Philosophy offers students the opportunity to experience University-level studies in such subjects such as the Basic Methods and Problems of Philosophy, critical thinking, the History of Philosophy, and Logic. Students learn how to research and analyse critical issues, and develop skills in presenting information and arguments. The Undergraduate Certificate offers an opportunity to acquire new skills and, for some students, could add to their existing qualifications. Besides being useful for employment, an Undergraduate Certificate is a pathway to further study of higher awards, such as a Diploma or Bachelor degree.

Entry requirements
Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Postgraduate entry
No structured standard entry requirements are available yet; confirm against the latest course requirements.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
