The Bachelor of Communications and Media introduces students to the field of communications and media and provides learning opportunities for them to develop in-depth skills in areas of communication practice. Students explore core concepts in cultural studies of the media, and develop creative, practical and technical skills appropriate for a wide range of industry settings. - Indicative ATAR of 70 with a score of 50+ in ATAR English, ATAR Literature or ATAR English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) OR Minimum International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 24 OR Completed AQF Certificate IV or higher in a relevant discipline, from an accredited provider such as TAFE or a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with a score of 50+ in ATAR English, ATAR Literature, or ATAR English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD).
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result.
