Candidates in the Masters by Research program can undertake their research in either a full-time or a part-time capacity. The maximum time for completion of the Masters by Research (not including periods of approved leave of absence) will normally be two years for a full-time student and four years for a part-time student. The minimum time for completion will normally be one year.
