Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) graduates think critically, creatively and ethically to solve problems and are culturally and globally aware. They have research and design skills and can work both autonomously and with others. Students develop the technical and communication skills, professional values and behaviours, and ethical practice required by Architecture. Design studios are central to the Architecture program. The studios provide the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge developed in cultural and technical theory in the design of built environments. - Indicative Selection Rank of 80 or equivalent with a score of 50+ in ATAR English, ATAR Literature or ATAR English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) OR Minimum International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 28 OR Completed AQF Diploma or higher in a relevant discipline, from an accredited provider such as TAFE or a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with a score of 50+ in ATAR English, ATAR Literature or ATAR English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD).
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result.
