Course overview

Engineer solutions to the challenges facing our world in climate change, water resources, energy and bushfire management with the Master of Environmental Engineering at Australias leading university. Design sustainable solutions to the worlds environmental problems. If you have a relevant undergraduate major, you will be able to complete the masters degree in 2 years. Once youve started studying, you can specialize in Earth Observation, Energy Systems or Water Systems, or continue without specializing.

Entry requirements

Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.

Postgraduate entry

An undergraduate degree in any discipline, with:

  • The equivalent of 25 points (two subjects) of first year mathematics, specifically Calculus 2 and Linear Algebra.
  • The equivalent of 25 points (two subjects) of first year science from: Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Geosciences, Geography
  • A weighted average mark of at least 65%.
English requirement
IELTS Academic 6.5

If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
