Course overview
The Harvard Business Review has labelled data science the "sexiest job of the 21st century". If they meant that jobs in data science are increasing dramatically, that data scientists can work in fields as diverse as health, retail or ecology, and that data scientists are commanding high salaries, then they were spot on. After all, were creating more than 2.5 exabytes of data every day. Someone needs to make sense of it all.

Postgraduate entry
- An undergraduate degree with a major in a relevant discipline (computer science, data science or statistics) with a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 65 per cent, and12.5 points (one subject) of university-level computer science (or equivalent) with content focused on computer programming,
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result.
