With the rising incidence of cancer across the globe, there is a projected shortage of skilled practitioners in the oncology workforce. The Master of Cancer Sciences, Australias first cancer-specific, multidisciplinary, and wholly online program, and one of only two such online programs available in the world, has been designed to meet this growing need. Developed in collaboration with experts from the VCCC Alliance and the University of Melbourne, you will gain an unprecedented breadth of integrated, cutting-edge, specialist cancer knowledge. Entry requirements
Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Postgraduate entry
- An undergraduate degree with honours in an appropriate discipline (or equivalent), OR
- An undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline (or equivalent) AND at least two years of documented, relevant work experience, OR
- At least eight years of documented relevant work experience and demonstrated evidence of written and analytical skills appropriate for postgraduate study. If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result.
