Entry requirements
Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.
Postgraduate entry
- Have completed a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent), AND
- Hold current unrestricted registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA (or equivalent) registration with an international health practitioner regulation agency, AND
- Be in receipt of clinical support from a partnering health service and be employed a minimum of three (3) days or 24 hours per week for the standard course duration in a clinical setting that will provide the relevant clinical experience to meet course learning outcomes. Have completed a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent), AND Provide documented evidence of clinical practice within the preceding five years from the time of application, AND Hold current unrestricted registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA (or equivalent) registration with an international health practitioner regulation agency, AND Be in receipt of clinical support from a partnering health service and be employed a minimum of three (3) days or 24 hours per week for the standard course duration in a clinical setting that will provide the relevant clinical experience to meet course learning outcomes.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result. Always confirm exclusions for professional registration courses and the offer conditions.
