Master Degrees (Coursework) prepare students to apply advanced knowledge for professional practice, scholarship and further learning corresponding to AQF level 9 qualifications. Specifically, the Master of Advanced Practice aims to develop graduates who possess a combination of knowledge and research skills applicable to industry. This course is designed to allow specialisation in various disciplines including Clinical Leadership, Diabetes Studies, Advanced Specialty Practice, Critical Care Nursing, Acute Care Nursing, Child and Adolescent Health Nursing and Wound, Ostomy and Continence Practice and are suitable for those who wish to extend their existing knowledge of a discipline.

Entry requirements

Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.

Postgraduate entry

Applicants for the Master of Advanced Practice Degree (Coursework) are required to meet University academic and English language standards.

Applicants will require a Bachelor Degree, Bachelor Honours Degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in their related field.

Applicants must also hold three (3) years experience in their related field post Bachelor degree.

Enrolment can be full time or part time.

Study plan can be negotiated.

A part time study plan is essential for specialisations that are linked to employment.
