Course overview

Design and modify the computer and software systems that power every aspect of modern life. Work on exciting real-world applications and develop in-demand skills for a range of industries. Computer and software engineers create and modify software programs such as operating systems, applications software, communications software, and software embedded in devices ranging from mobile phones to GPSs, satellites and aircraft flight systems. The discipline combines principles of computer science with the rigour and problem-solving skills of engineering.

QUT Diploma program with successful completion.

QUT Foundation Program with an overall grade average of at least 4.4 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

QUT Intensive Program with an overall grade average of at least 4.4 (on QUT's 7 point scale).
