Course overview

The Graduate Certificate in Business Psychology is for graduates from a variety of disciplines seeking to advance their leadership and management skills using key and emerging insights from psychological science. This program will: - Enhance understanding of performance and wellbeing across workplace contexts - Provide key business leadership skills for the modern workplace - Help understand and build effective professional relationships - Enable effective organisational change management and leadership - Promote creation of humane, inclusive and equitable workplaces. You will develop an advanced understanding of human psychology and behaviour. You will learn how this can be applied to manage workplace relationships. You will learn specialised skills in applied psychology and organisational behaviour in the workplace, such as psychological assessment and interviewing.

Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.

Postgraduate entry

Admission is open to applicants meeting one of the following criteria: 3 year bachelors Degree in a related field (i.e. cognate), or higher 3 year bachelors Degree not in a related field (i.e. non-cognate); or 3 year Diploma in a related (i.e. cognate) field such as psychology, or social sciences, or 3 year Diploma not in a related field + 1 year relevant organisational experience; or 2 year Diploma in a related field such as psychology, or social sciences, + 2 years relevant organisational experience; or 2 year Diploma not in the discipline + 3 years relevant organisational experience; or At least 5 years organisational experience.

If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
