To be considered for admission to the GCN course, an Australian resident student or international student must meet the following requirements:
- Be a registered nurse with their country of origin or practice’s nursing board
- Hold a minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse – 3 years Diploma holders
- Experience is not mandatory for Bachelors’s degree-qualified nurses
- Attend an interview with a member of the academic faculty at IHM
- Provide evidence of a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 with no band lower than 6, or comparable OET/PTE scores
- Students who do not have a valid English language exam score may take the IHM’s online English language test and meet the required pass mark (*applicable for online students only)
- For GCN On campus-
- IELTS: Overall 6.5 and no band less than 6.0
- PTE: Overall 56 and no band less than 46
- OET: B for each test component
- For GCN Online-
- OET: IELTS equivalent score
- IHM internal test:No module less than 70%
