Course overview

If you achieve excellent results while studying your bachelors degree in business, this course will help you build your specialist knowledge even further. You will gain advanced discipline knowledge, learn to plan, organise and find solutions, and work independently. You will expand your research, critical thinking and communication abilities and develop superior analytical skills. An honours qualification demonstrates your leadership potential and accelerates your employment in industry and provides a pathway to a PhD. Over one year of study (or longer if you take part-time options), youll dive deeper into the subject area of your undergraduate degree.

Standard entry

Completion of a Bachelor Degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in the same discipline or cognate area with a Distinction average in units relating to the planned Honours study and a Credit/ Distinction average overall.

Subject to availability of a suitable supervisor and approval by the Dean of School.

Students should not have failed any undergraduate units in their relevant degree, particularly second and third year units and especially units related to their planned field of study.
