The honours component prepares students to develop advanced knowledge and skills for professional work, research and further learning corresponding to AQF level 8 qualifications.

Standard entry
Minimum ATAR: 90 (NB: must maintain a CWA of 70 or higher to remain in course)
Essential: Chemistry ATAR and Mathematics Methods ATAR or Mathematics Specialist ATAR.
Desirable: Human Biology ATAR or Biology ATAR and Physics ATAR STAT: WE and either V or Q Applicants with relevant TAFE qualifications are encouraged to contact the School to discuss entry qualification and any Credit for Recognised Learning.

If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package.
