An introduction to contemporary issues in society, culture and communication that impact areas such as Human Services, the Creative Industries and Art and Design. These courses provide the foundation concepts to accelerate your progress in your proposed area of degree studies and entry into the career of your choice.
You can use this Diploma to take you into the second year of a range of different Bachelor preferences at the University of South Australia or into the first year with standing credit. Possible options include Psychology, Design, Film and Television, Arts, Journalism and Professional Writing or Social Work.

Standard entry
- Recent secondary Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or equivalent recent year 11 (Stage 1) or year 12 (Stage 2) qualification (including the International Baccalaureate Diploma). Higher Ed Completed or partially completed a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or Completed a University Foundation Studies, Bridging or Enabling program Work-Life Other Completed a non-recent SACE Stage 1 (year 11) or SACE Stage 2 (year 12) qualification or equivalent, or STAT multiple choice test, or Employment experience If you have been employed in the Australian Defence Force you may be eligible to apply for an undergraduate course on the basis of your service.
