Course overview
During this course you will be introduced to hospitality concepts and discover business and management principles. This course can be studied completely online, on campus in Sydney, or a combination of both. This course will prepare you for entry-level roles in the hospitality industry, or you can further your studies and enter directly into the second year of the Bachelor of Business. Learning outcomes

Areas of Study: Customer service, food and beverage management, front office management, hospitality, hospitality law, human resources, operations and safety management, sales and marketing strategy.

Standard entry
- Recent secondary Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or equivalent recent year 12 qualification (including the International Baccalaureate Diploma). Higher Ed Completed or partially completed a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or Completed a University Foundation Studies, Bridging or Enabling program Work-Life Other Completed a non-recent SACE or equivalent secondary education qualification with a competitive selection rank, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB), or Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) (optional), or Personal competencies and/or employment experience (optional) If you have studied at higher education level in the last two years, you must not have accumulated more than a total of two full-time years of higher education study in order to use your STAT/PCA/Employment results. If you have been employed in the Australian Defence Force you may be eligible to apply for an undergraduate course on the basis of your service. See here .
