Course overview
This program prepares students for whom English is an additional language to be academically and linguistically independent in their use of the English language. The program provides opportunities for students to gain a sophisticated understanding of the International Use of English, and both Australian and World Englishes, in relation to students’ own repertoires of languages and multilingual societies. This focus includes how English has an impact on the experience of individuals and communities globally. Graduates bring in-depth knowledge and communication skills in English that are highly valued internationally in a wide range of careers and professional contexts.
