Course overview
Through this packaged program, you will continue your studies through the Master of Urban and Regional Planning to meet the requirements for full registration with the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).
In the Master, study the promotion and development of sustainable cities. Learn about urban design, social policy and planning, urban transportation planning, environmental impact assessments, and planning for healthy cities.
Develop solid foundational knowledge in the principles of urban development along with its practical application in town planning. Gain valuable practical experience through work placements and international field trips. Complete an individual research project under the guidance of a qualified supervisor, exploring a real-world issue or challenge. Entry requirements
Switch between domestic ATAR data and international qualification equivalents.
IB Diploma
24Use the ATAR 65 band together with the relevant qualification and prerequisite requirements.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result.
