Course overview
This Bachelor of Criminology specialisation prepares undergraduates for successful careers working with clients, their families and communities affected by the criminal justice system. Students will develop and apply foundational interviewing and counselling skills to work with people within the criminal justice system and will use an ethical and compassionate lens to approach the study of crime and justice to foster connection across cultural, socio-economic, and jurisdictional boundaries. Graduates will be equipped to communicate criminological knowledge effectively across a range of technologies and audiences and apply quantitative and qualitative research and analytical skills to generate innovative and practical solutions within professional settings in and beyond the field of criminology.
Entry requirements
Switch between domestic ATAR data and international qualification equivalents.
IB Diploma
24Use the ATAR 60 band together with the relevant qualification and prerequisite requirements.
If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result.
