Course overview

The Bachelor of Commerce (Finance/Economics) provides students with the skills and knowledge required for career paths in both economics and finance. It prepares students to be an effective financial analyst and executive by being exposed to the Australian economic policy framework and how it applies to the financial services industry. The degree will introduce students to the microeconomic and macroeconomic environments in a global context to give a firm grasp of rational economic decision-making processes. Students can undertake foundation studies in a range of business topics, as well as focus on two specialisations in economics and financial-related topics to develop a sound understanding of these important business and policy areas. This course has a strong multidisciplinary focus giving a competitive edge in the international marketplace.
