Course overview
The Bachelor of Science (Honours) course allows you the opportunity to continue undergraduate studies at a higher level by pursuing an independent research project in an area of interest. Projects are completed under the supervision of an academic member of staff and provide you with an opportunity to develop new skills, generate new information and/or distil new ideas out of existing knowledge, whilst specialising in your chosen field.

Standard entry
- A completed Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) equivalent Bachelor degree, achieving a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 5.0, achieved within the second and third year of studies. Entry into this course is dependent on an approved project/dissertation topic and the availability for an appropriate supervisor.
English requirement

If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result.
