Course overview
This program emphasises the development of research and professional skills, including an understanding of the ethical principles of psychological practice. Each semester, students are involved in research projects and activities that foster professional skills. Students acquire practical experience with organisations like Drug Arm, disability services, Queensland Police, local schools, non-government organisations and private practices. Psychology is a challenging profession but graduates are equipped with exposure to treatment regimens and experience in administering psychological tests.
