Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management

This course blends theory and practice to prepare graduates for a global management career in hospitality, events and tourism. Courses are designed to equip students with managerial insights and expertise in hotel and resort operations, destination management, planning and staging events, marketing, customer service and sustainability. Partnerships with international hotels and resorts, events venues, and tourism organisations allow students to participate in industry projects, network with and learn from industry leaders, and observe first-hand how hospitality, events and travel companies operate. Through workshops, lectures and site visits, students will learn about the latest trends in designing, organising and delivering exceptional guest experiences. They also have the opportunity to participate in exchange programs or enrol in a field study tour to Disneyworld. In their final year, students are encouraged to obtain internships with hospitality, event or tourism organisations of their choice.
