Course overview
The Diploma in Esports provides you with foundational knowledge and skills related to esports and how esports as an industry interrelates with the broad fields of Information Technology and Business. This Diploma will cover concepts in relation to esports as an emerging billion-dollar industry worldwide and how you can be involved in the coming esports revolution. Covering both practical and theoretical realms, physical and mental health, pro-athlete attitudes and values, business strategies and a range of digital technologies, this qualification will prepare you for a variety of esports career pathways. As a blended education model, you gain skills online and on-campus in a highly supportive environment. You will have access to a suite of services designed to help achieve your study goals and advance your career. Upon successful completion of the Diploma, you will be able to articulate into the Bachelor of Information Technology with up to 96 credit points of advanced standing. The Bachelor of Information Technology equips you to build and apply information technology solutions across diverse industries. A hands-on, work-integrated curriculum allows you to explore areas in information technology, and gain a deep understanding in your chosen specialty. You use your creativity and people skills to maximise the impact of your technical know-how to enable you to deal with technologies that have not been invented yet.

Combined diploma/degrees: Upon completion of the diploma component, you will be automatically offered a place in the single degrees of Bachelor of Business and the Bachelor of Information Technology. Your completed diploma will provide up to 96 credit points (1 year) advanced standing to each degree.
