The construction industry is one the key players in Australia’s economy, contributing 7.5% industry share of output. This degree will equip you with in-depth knowledge and practical skills required to manage and direct complex construction projects. Our strong links with industry ensure you gain a practical understanding of the latest industry trends and access to powerful IT applications used in construction. You’ll learn about construction and building practices, the fundamentals of sustainable construction, project development and management, construction economics, and site and safety operations in a global context. You’ll undertake an in-depth study of core construction areas including construction measurements and estimating, tendering, planning and procurement.
