This program prepares students for a career in pharmacology, toxicology or drug research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other health industries. Students learn about drugs, poisons and how to develop new medicines. They have the opportunity to specialize in distinct areas. Learning is enhanced with hands-on experiences in state-of-the-art facilities (immersive virtual learning environment, formulation, pharmacology and analytical laboratories). On successful completion of the higher education diploma, students progress into the Griffith University Bachelor of Pharmacology and Toxicology with credit.
