Course overview
This program is for students interested in promoting sport and recreation activities in the community. In the higher education diploma year, students develop fundamental academic skills and cement their knowledge in core concepts required for a career in health. On successful completion, students progress into the Griffith University Bachelor of Science with credit, to undertake studies in physiology, biomechanics, sport psychology, sociology, sports management, sport policy, fitness and sports coaching. As part of the degree, students undertake a professional placement, allowing them to put skills and knowledge into practice.
