Course overview
The Undergraduate Certificate in Graphic Design enables students to learn the tools, techniques, principles and user-centred design for print and digital output. Students will apply design thinking and project management processes, and engage in the development of workplace skills desired by this industry.
Key topics covered within the program include:
design processes, user experience design, print and digital design, creative problem solving, critical reflection, working under supervision in a paraprofessional role, introductory design and critical reflection processes, technical workflows,
introductory project management.
To complement your technical skills, you will graduate with knowledge about:
employability skills specific to creative media
communication, including how to communicate specialist technical and creative ideas and perspectives in the graphic design discipline to others, introductory project management methodologies, teamwork and collaboration in the context of creative media, scholarly knowledge relevant to your creative practice and further study.
Upon completion, you will be eligible for up to 40 credit points towards the Diploma of Graphic Design.

Available for full-time studies for the September 2021 intake only. The course must be completed by the 31st of December 2021. Not available to current Year 12 students
