This program will combine skills and knowledge from the world of business with a specialisation in sport and recreation-specific content such as Events Management, Physical Activity and Health, Psycho-social Aspects of Sport and Physical Activity and The Australian Sports System. As part of the Bachelor of Commerce, you will have the opportunity to major in a variety of disciplines such as Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing and Public Relations. The wide choice of disciplines on offer allows you to customise your degree to suit your personal and professional interests and academic strengths. As part of the Bachelor of Sport & Recreation Management, this program is designed to give you the skills to manage recreation and sporting organisations and staff, and to adapt and thrive in environments of rapid and pervasive economic, social and technological change. You will also learn how to manage an individual sporting and recreational agenda and, more broadly, how to oversee the community
